Misandry: the underdog of the patriarchy

PRE-RAMBLE: Recently, I started Vyvanse which, shockingly, in my long pharmaceutical history I had not previously been prescribed. Long story short:

It's been life changing!

I don't think I have ever been able to access my brain in this way before, I have been able to complete tasks I've had backlogged for months with an ease I didn't previously know was achievable.
[hello texting back my loved ones looking *directly* @ you bbygirl]
I have also been able to return to my love of non-fiction literature (no hate to fiction I adore her too she is just 100x easier to process to me). This week alone I have read 8 books on top of work, uni, socialisation and general existence - a feat not achieved since high school. In another life I am a nepo baby who collects dozens of pointless degrees, in this one I worry about my piling HECs debt and how I will ever afford my singular PhD aspirations...anyway 🙂

Anyone who knows me knows that I am particularly passionate about the following topics:

- Defunding/Abolishing/Restructuring the institutions of police and militant forces
- The mid-long term global and societal effects of COVID-19
- Indigenous self sovereignty
- Radical kindness and empathy as a political tool for change (and how this can be utilised both alongside and to counteract political violence in the much needed revolution)
- My socialist leaning anarchist political ideologies
- Drug use harm reduction + destigmatisation
- Easily accessible education (in particular for minority communities and to work towards decolonising academia)
- & Misandry + Evil Man Hating LesbiansTM

I've already sort of written a blog post on one of those topics (see: Yaambuldhaany) so I thought why not revel in the joy of my newfound brainpower by giving my beloved friends a day off from my passionate rantings and get some of my new thoughts on another one of these topics that have been rattling around my brain like that one old anti-burn DVD screen out into this weeks blog post. Enjoy ❤
Who knows? Maybe once I get these ideas out of my brain (and catch up on the posts I have meant to be making since March) I might finally finish designing the website- a Dyke can dream!
